EON 2025 and onwards!

Hello Everyone!

First of all, I want to say welcome to all the new e-mail club members that recently joined. In less than a year, there have been more than 3000 of you who have joined!

It has been a long time since I made a blog post here, since I had the entire store closed until a drop was happening. I would like to talk about the behind the scenes of the EON photoshoot, and the store drop that happened a couple weeks ago.

As you may know, I travelled to Venice along with three friends to do a photoshoot for the new T-shirts. I mentioned the idea to Jack as a bit of a joke back in December, but thought “why not?”.  I already had the designs ready to go with my supplier, but the wait was long due to the Lunar new year. I booked the flights for Hannah, Jack, Dodo and I for March to make sure we had some good weather. This was the first time I’ve organised an overseas trip myself, but everything went relatively smoothly, especially with Dodo’s intel and a great map of local places to eat that they made.

We flew out on a Saturday morning, and flew back on the Monday morning. Not long to explore the city, but I figured it would give us enough time to get some good photos. It was fairly cloudy when we arrived and continued throughout Saturday, but we were lucky to get some great sun on Sunday afternoon.

This shoot was extremely unnecessary from a business standpoint, but I wanted to do something fun and exciting, instead of shooting the shirts in another random London park!  I’m looking forward to future shoots and explore more fun environments that complement my designs.

As for the store drop on the 12th April, I had an idea that you were all looking forward to it, but I was truly blown away by the amount of purchases in the first few minutes of its opening. I was definitely not anticipating that many messages and emails about ordering, and I thank you all for being so patient. In the future, I’ll be limiting the stock and releasing it over multiple drops over a few days, to make sure people get a chance to purchase if they miss the initial drop like before. It’s coming up to a year of my store being open, so this is still a learning curve for me. Hopefully every store drop moves me a step closer to making it more optimised for both customers and myself when fulfilling orders.

The next month is looking jam packed for me, with getting all your orders out, and getting the March Hello World preorders out too (finally!). If you’ve been following that saga over on my Twitter you’ll know how stressful it has been with the new supplier. It’s looking like we’re at the final hurdle now, so it shouldn’t be much longer before I can start getting those out to you all.

I will also be at MCM Comic Con in London at the end of May, please look out for more updates. I will have some very limited apparel stock at my booth, as well as some limited edition items that I’ll be revealing at a later date.

If you would like to stay more up to date with happenings on my store, please check out the new account I made dedicated to posting updates on Twitter, @snackyboyshop. This is mostly for updates I put out about when new stock arrives and orders I’m sending out, and I will be posting information about news drops there too. I felt like I was spamming my main art account too much in the aftermath of the EON drop, so though it would be best to move these updates as not to clog up peoples feeds.

I will be adding a dedicated page to my store regarding the e-mail club in a few days, since I’m getting many questions from newcomers about how it works, and why they can’t access the product pages. Please look forward to it!

As always thank you so much for your interest in my designs and art, I really enjoy everyone’s excitement and look forward to making new things for you to wear!

xoxo

  • The Venice photoshoot was so cool – definitely necessary for the eon shirts and necklaces. Shame you couldn’t go stratospheric for the deoxys one. Looking forward to seeing what’s next already
