Relocation and Commissions

Hello everyone!

Firstly I want to say I hope you are all enjoying the height of autumn (or spring for my southern hemisphere residents!). I wanted to make a small blog post outlining a few updates about my store and life events.

Firstly, I just want to let you know that I'm doing some small trainer art commissions. I'm currently mid batch, and will be open again once they are complete. I only did a quick post on twitter opening them up, but I'll be moving it over to ko-fi for the next batch to make it easier for me to manage, and for you to purchase. My full art commissions are still regularly available if you are after something more detailed.

Secondly, I am in the process of moving house! If you have been following me for a long time, you know I have been living with my mum for a while and was struggling with my ADHD diagnosis and lack of space to store my stock. After each store opening this year, I have been saving up a substansial cushion to aid me in paying rent for an eventual move. I had not actually intended to move so soon and planned on starting to find a place to live in April next year. I stumbled across a listing for a place to rent in south east London (somewhere I frequently spend time) and thought "why not, there's no harm in going for a viewing". I've always felt like I have been lagging behind in life not having my own living space, but I'm now able to make it a reality thanks to you all.

For those of you who are self-employed or work from home, you'll know it makes finding somewhere to live a bit easier, though the trouble with my case is that I need physical space for both work and storage. So as you can imagine, asking for this for a reasonable price in the city is pretty laughable. I'm extremely lucky to have found this new place to live in that accomodates my work, and I cannot put into words how thankful I am for you all purchasing from my store. Without your interest iny my art, this literally would have not been possible for me. The new place I am moving to has an extra room I will be converting into an art studio so I have a designated space to create and pack orders. This space will also allow me to open the store more frequently. I'll be positing updates on twitter and instagram making it look cool, so I hope you'll follow along on this journey with me!

The move in date is less than 2 weeks from now, and the preorder stock from the September drop is due to arrive shortly after I've moved. I'm aiming to get all of your preorders out ASAP, but may take a little longer while I'm adjusting to the new space. What better way to get right into the action in the new space though, right?!

Finally, I am aiming for the next store opening to be in January. This will include a big restock of all previous apparel and accessories, so save any christmas money you may be gifted! As always, I'll be posting updates over on @snackyboyshop on twitter, and my broadcast channel on instagram.

Thank you so much again for your continued support, again I cannot express how much this means to me. I simply cannot imagine myself doing anything else for a living, thank you everyone!

xoxo
